Where you'll take it, and how to book it.

DUO handles every part of the booking. Kora gets you ready; you register on Mijn Inburgering when you're ready to schedule. Below is what you actually need on the day.

Waar? (Where)

A2 + KNM exams are held at six locations across the Netherlands. You pick your location when you register. NT2 (B1/B2) is at different addresses — see the bottom of this page.

Open Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:30. Closed weekends. All locations are wheelchair-accessible. DUO has no parking — plan on public transport or street parking nearby.

Hoe meld ik mij aan? (How do I register?)

Registration runs through Mijn Inburgering on inburgeren.nl. You'll need a DigiD with text-message verification, or the DigiD app, to log in.

Get a DigiD if you don't have one
Apply for free at digid.nl. It takes a few days to arrive by post. Most learners already have one — it's used for almost every government service.

Log in to Mijn Inburgering
Go to inburgeren.nl and click "Mijn Inburgering." You'll be sent to DigiD — use either text-message verification or the app.

Pick "Examens" and choose the section you want to book
The five inburgering exams are listed there: Spreken, Schrijven, Luisteren, Lezen, KNM. You book each one separately. Take whichever you feel readiest for first.

Choose a location, date, and time
Pick one of the six locations above. The calendar shows available slots — busy weeks fill up early, so don't wait until the last moment.

Save the confirmation email
DUO emails your booking confirmation. Bring valid ID (paspoort or verblijfsdocument) on exam day. Without ID, you cannot take the exam.

What you can also do in Mijn Inburgering: change a booking, see your exam results, view DUO letters, apply for a study loan, and do the ONA assignments.

Taking the NT2 staatsexamen (B1 / B2)?

Those exams run at different locations — usually larger venues outside the six A2/KNM centers. The current list is on inburgeren.nl (in Dutch). Registration still runs through Mijn Inburgering with DigiD — same flow as above.

Locations and hours sourced from inburgeren.nl as of June 2026. DUO may change addresses or hours — check Mijn Inburgering before you travel. On strike days or with disrupted transit, allow extra time.
